Considering our last 4 matches I opted for Eboue instead of Sagna at the right back. Nasri and Rosicky both at left and right flank to support Bendtner. Predict Porto 0 – 2 Arsenal.

WE LOSE 1-3. THANKS TO ARSHAVIN AND ALMUNIA

WE LOSE 1-3. It is a total blow for the team losing to Man Utd by 3 goal down in just 60 minutes of playing time. With so much anticipation of what we have through over the past few weeks, bouncing back from the 3-0 Chelsea defeat all the way to the top of the league and now we are back to our CONSISTENTLY INCONSISTENT or INCONSISTENTLY CONSISTENT tag.

Vermaelen’s goal merely a consolation goal and can’t undone his terrible performance together with the Arsenal back four Glichy, Sagna, Gallas and the worst of all Manuel Almunia. What we lack in the defense unit is discipline and coordination and we were caught every time Man Utd counter-attacking us. It’s a real horror watching Vermaelen and Gallas join the attack every time we won a corner or free-kick and then STRUGGLE to went back to fill their marking position again. Nani, Rooney, Park and Scholes was always have so much room and was handsomely played their attacking moves with so much speed for which our back four lack of last night. Man Utd second and third goal can be prevented if Vermaelen and William containing instead of pressuring Man Utd attacking moves.

Sagna and Clichy, I don’t see any contribution from these two players other than make wasteful run by the line and then cross the ball only to find Johnny Evans or Michael Carrick. I don’t see the necessary of crossing the ball high into Man Utd penalty area unless we play Bendtner from the start.

However nothing good can be said to the level of Arshavin’s performance last night. I can say he is the main culprit for the team not scoring first since we start the match quite very well. The first 15 or 20 minutes is belong to us and Man Utd seem unable to match our fluidity of controlling and holding the ball. Arshavin was so selfish where almost three to four clear chances was wasted by him because he eagerly wanted to score by himself instead to pass the ball to the teammates. Even though Shava playing as our lone striker I don’t think the manager has asked him to imitate Nistelrooy or Owen style of play – shoot whenever you got the ball!. Don’t you see the faces of Nasri, Rosicky and Fab out of frustration to the commitment shown by Shava in this match, do you?

The injury of Diaby and Ramsey come untimely for this crucial game. With Song just come back from The African Nations Cup and still struggling with his fitness level and Denilson’s (is he play last night?) so-so performances all together put a huge burden on Fabregas’s shoulder to mechanics the centre field.

And Almunia, what is wrong with you? You cost us the first goal and almost double it with you heroic stunt! And what with the serious face you put throughout the match. Is it concentration face or nervous breakdown face?

Next Sunday it will be Chelsea and then Liverpool and then the others. We should win all the games.
And like the manager said..

We have to focus on delivering a completely different performance because today we were never close in our marking and you do not win big games like that.

And for me all the remaining games now is a BIG GAMES. Period.

Oh.. how I miss Alex Helb.

ARSENAL END YEAR IN WINNING STYLE

Arsenal destroyed Portsmouth 4-1 at Fratton Park . What a goal from Ramsey! And Song’s first goal of the season.

Ramsey's stunning goal earned him Man of The Match

Kevin-Prince Boateng of Portsmouth challenges Alex Song

AMACIEM NI STRATEGI BOLEH ON KA?

Almunia
Sagna – Gallas – Vermaelen – Traore
Song
Nasri – Diaby – Fabregas – Vela
Arshavin

Ko check tengok midfield and striker tu semua ketot-ketot beb. Adus!

Tapi Diaby ni tamak sket.. asyik nak meletakkan nama selaku penjaring je. Pastu mulala nak naik dan tinggalkan posisi bertahan. Pastu shoot pulak asyik melencong ke mana-mana ntah. Tak sharpshooter betulla mamat ni.

So, aku rasa tactic member aku ni tak menunjukkan ciri-ciri kemenangan yang diingini.

Sikit jam lagi match start, papahal malam ni Arsenal memang terbaek punya! Go Gunners!

Ha ko main macam ni gerenti tecirit punya la si Caragher tu..

BANKING ON SHAVA TO DESTROY THE KOP

Sengaja aku tak layan BPL semalam sebab aku masih lagi berkabung dengan peristiwa kemalangan maut pengantin 3 jam dua hari lepas. Sedih beb ko sampai hati ke bersorak tengok team ko score goal but kat belah sana ada kematian yang menyayat hati.

Anyway, awal pagi ni aku trus on WiMax tengok result BPL semalam. Perggh..! Chelsea Everton seri 2-2 (cantek!), Man Utd kalah lawan Aston Villa (terbaeek!).

So is it still a two-horse race despite the bad results of Man Utd and Chelsea last nite? And our game tonite will do no harm to the standing whatever the result?

“I don’t know why it should be a two-horse race, Man United are two points behind Chelsea but we have a game in hand. That means if we win our game in hand then we are level points with Man United. How can you say then with 25 games to go it’s a two-horse race?”

C’mon man, I never said that! But What you think about the Chelsea’s result last nite?

“I said after our game against them that Chelsea would drop points. Do you remember my statement? And everybody looked at me like ‘this guy has completely lost the plot’. One week later they lost at Man City. They have lost three games now and they will lose more games, don’t worry.”

So who’ll play tonite? Please I beg you no Eboue please..

Arshavin, William Gallas, Cesc Fabregas, and Armand Traore have all recovered from knocks picked up against Stoke last week. Eduardo (thigh) had not quite recovered from his injury but Abou Diaby (calf) is expected to be included in the squad for the Merseyside trip. If you were me who’s you gonna start with?

Aiks.. dia pulak soal aku? Okay you should carefully consider this lineup man.. First no Eboue, yeah mention it oredy and always start with Walcott on the right, Nasri on the left. (both will command as a winger). Put Arshavin up front as stand-in striker he fantastic against Stoke, don’t you? and supported by Fabregas. Since Rosicky is out opt for Denilson instead of Ramsey and Song to mechanics the midfield. As for the back four, as usual Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen and Clichy or Traore or Gibbs (whoever fit to play). Almunia at the goal.

As for tonite all the attention will focus more to the Liverpool trio (Torres, Gerrard and Aquilani) but don’t you ever chuak with this Aquilani boy.

Hold a sec. What’s that?

What’s what??

Chuak?. What is that? English man..!

Okay..okay. Sorry. What I mean is aa… Don’t ever feel Aquilani as a threat man. He is still unproven in BPL and quite overrated i think. We should focus more to Gerrard and Torres. Are you still with me there?

Yes.. go on please..

Okay. So tonite it will be the nite for Fabregas, Denilson and Song at the center to stop Gerrard to receive ball even if he does get the ball then don’t hesitate to play dirty man. Vermaelen and Gallas should be no problen to contain Torres. We should get the goal first and to do that please minimize our beautiful-short-passing-around-the-box and ask Shava to shoot his piledrive more often. Theo and Nasri will run forward to the box and let Sagna and Glichy run by the byline with their crosses. Oh man.. Shava, Nasri, Theo and Fabregas all are short fellas so don’t commit with more crosses.

Denilson and Song will maintain their position at the center and  should win the ball back when loses it. Denilson especially!

I think we should win this by 2-0. So what say you man?..

… Hello..

… Are you still there..?

Arsene Wenger is offline…

Sh*t!.. penat aku tulis ni ko offline pulak.
